Outcomes and Transfer Patterns of Patients With Their First Nstemi in British Columbia (BC): A Comparison of Community Versus Tertiary Care Hospitals

      Data supporting an early invasive approach for Non-ST-segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction (NSTEMI) patients are derived primarily from trials conducted in referral centers with catheterization and revascularization available in the admitting hospital. It is unknown whether an early invasive strategy is beneficial for patients presenting to Canadian community hospitals and requiring transfer for catheterization and revascularization.
