A 55-year-old woman with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation was admitted for dyspnea.
She had previously undergone radiofrequency pulmonary vein (PV) isolation on 2 occasions,
4 and 5 years earlier. A computed tomographic (CT) scan demonstrated total occlusion
of the left superior PV. After discussion it was decided to perform PV stenting.
