Caregiving, a role women perform more commonly than men, places many burdens on the
caregiver. High levels of caregiving responsibilities may impact the health and self-care
of women living with cardiovascular disease (CVD). This project sought to understand
the type and source of supports needed when the caregiver, a woman living with CVD,
is also trying to manage her own chronic health condition.
