Imaging hallmarks of an interatrial septal aneurysm (IASA) are > 15 mm lateral prolapsing
motion and identical signal characteristics to blood pool. Herein we describe a case
of IASA confirmed on surgical excision with imaging features in contrast to this,
where it mimicked an atrial myxoma on cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging.
