      Summary:

      We report the case of a 45 years-old Caucasian lady affected by primary mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma and incessant symptomatic pericarditis. The resistance to conventional pericarditis therapies and the need to accomplish chemotherapy, in order to avoid oncological disease progression, brought us to consider precocious IL-1 receptor antagonist administration, never used before in this highly vulnerable population.
